Rhee-Gate 2009: I Am Not A Crook !

Just poking a little fun here !
This brings to mind the departing words of our 37th U.S. President, Richard M. Nixon - "I am not a crook." A person's got to know whether their chancellor, (I mean president) is a crook.

I recommend that we all get buttons made up of this photo. I am all for this to demonstrate how Rhee is above the law. Where's the accountability in this city ? Still waiting on the DC City Council to act.

The DC City Council are CROOKS too... isn't it funny how NO one is mentioning the mishandling of the payments to contractors by Councilman Gray!!!???? Now people want to vote for him for mayor...
It is all because of the color of his skin... what a d*m shame! Shame on all of you!

Waiting for the minute I can utter, "Our long national nightmare is over" as Rhee moves to be with her true love.

The City can't do anything I do not think. They dont think they have the votes for it to be veto proof so they are scared to try. It's kinda like the Democrats afraid to go against Bush because he told them he would veto whatever they did so he got away with murder. I think if the City Council would actualy pass some laws and put the pressure on people to actualy vote on the record we might be suprised. Expecially now with all this new info out there about MR.

I am not following your comment. Are you saying people want to vote for Vincent Gray because he is black ? Please explain your comment further.

WTU just lost its lawsuit in court for the laid off teachers. How sad this is. Do you know what the WTU's game plan is next?

I say we get bumper stickers and buttons!! She IS A CROOK!!

As for the comment about Vincent Gray, what difference does it make who did his repairs as long as he paid for them? And what did you mean? Are you suggesting that people only want to vote for him because he's black? Fenty is half-black and a 100% fool. What does race have to do with it?

The Council needs to drive that CROOK out of town. She needs to go if only for the reason she aided a sexual pervert.

The WTU never had a game plan that is why the teachers are in the fix we are in. I think they are working with Rhee. If you saw what I saw in court you would not have been suprised that we lost. I have an attorney and I am not dealing with the Union any further. Those of you who are still memers need to DEMAND new counsel because when you need help, and believe me you will, Lee Jackson is ineffective.

I have this vision of when Rhee leaves. She will be singing the song "Don't Nobody Bring Me No Bad News" from The Wiz as she is dragged out of here by winged monkeys. Next, everyone in DCPS will break out in "Everybody Rejoice!" It will be flawless!!

Old School DCPS said...

We'll also be singing "Ding dong, the witch is dead". At my school we sang that one year one of Rhee's new leaders of a nightmare princiapl left the school. And we'll sing it for Rhee as we breathe a sigh of relief. When, oh Lord, when? Though remember, DC voters, a Fenty defeat will take her out.

What world are you living in? You just lost the court case. You won't win an appeal. Its over and all the photo-shopped bumper stickers in the world won't make any difference.

Rhee is playing for keeps and you guys are giggling about silly pictures. You are out of your league.

Whether Rhee stays or not those RIFFed teachers are not coming back. Face it, you lost and Rhee won.

RIF'd teachers are being advised to file an appeal through the Office of Employe Appeals (OEA) and should do so by no later than December 2nd. There were many procedural errors in terms of the way this RIF (reduction in force) was handled by DCPS. Whether teachers win an appeal through OEA will be determined on a case by case basis.

If teachers suspect they have a discrimination case under EEOC (i.e. age, disability or race, etc), they are encouraged to contact EEOC. I have previously listed information about EEOC on this blog and suggest you check out the links titled EEOC on the right hand side. There are timelines for EEOC filing that must be followed.

Best of luck to all.

Noah Wepman work for Rhee. His office is on the ninth floor too. He is not the CFO but he handles money matters.

Got this scoop while visiting headquarters today.

She is a crook!

@ Glenn we lost the hearing for an injunction. The court case has not even happened yet. It is far from over. We can still appeal to the OEA. Understand what is going on before you speak such nonsense.
Also, check the number of teachers that Rhee has fired but got their jobs back because she didn't follow rules. Last week over 30 teachers that she fired last June got their jobs back. SO it is far from over.

About Gray, this is a matter of transparency, honest and ethical conduct. All of which he fails to have. It does matter about his fence, it shows a decided lack of ethics.
His lack of ethics is proven in his silence. His silence on the destruction of DCPS. His silence on this latest firing and subsequent hiring of pretty young things to replace the slightly worn things. So, people need to remember silence means assent.

Also, his son worked for the division which approved the illegal contracts for Fenty. One has to wonder how much did Gray know and when did he know it.

@Glenn:

Why are you so far up Rhee's butt? What has she done for you? You talk about people giggling about pictures? You are out of your league and jurisdiction. What is so important to YOU about what goes on in DC?

Stay in Huntsville and mind your business.

What is done in the dark, will come out in the light. Michelle Rhee and Adrian Fenty will both be looking for new jobs in 2010. I am a DC voter, and I will let my vote speak for me in the September 2010 primaries. My vote will say No Fenty--No Rhee--No Way!
